Zanele Ntulini is the Managing Director of Collective ID, previously Ireland/Davenport, an award-winning full-service agency with creative heritage spanning over 15 years in Southern Africa.
Before joining Collective ID, she co-owned MDOT, a through-the-line advertising and design agency, where she served as its marketing and strategy director.
With more than 17 years experience in both traditional and non-traditional marketing, strategy development, branding and communication, Ntulini has a stellar track record heading up marketing departments, utilising her classical marketing experience and business acumen to drive business growth and build up high-performance teams.
Over the years, she developed and implemented robust integrated marketing communication strategies that deliver business results.
The greater part of her career was spent as a marketing leader within large corporations and JSE-listed companies in insurance, ICT, banking and retail sectors, including positions with Hollard as GM for Marketing, Discovery Health as Head of Marketing and Head of Marketing for FNB Connect at First National Bank (FNB), Liberty, Old Mutual and Altech Autopage.
Throughout her career, Ntulini has developed excellent market insights for Business to Business and Business to Consumer markets. She brings with her expertise in retail advertising, customer experience, brand development, public relations, product development and management, account management and new business development.
Ntulini holds a BCom (Marketing and Business Finance) from the University of Witwatersrand, a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management from the University of South Africa (UNISA) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Pretoria’s Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS).
Ntulini is passionate about mentorship and dedicates valuable time to mentoring future marketing leaders. Establishing and growing brands on the African continent is something she holds close to her heart.
