Zama Khanyile


Zama Khanyile is a qualified Chartered Accountant with an Honours degree in Accounting from the University of Johannesburg.

Khanyile is an Account Manager within the IDC’s Agro-Industries business unit.

Her work experience has been mainly in the financial services sector with notable skill in financial modelling and analysis, risk identification and risk mitigation.

She is a motivated self-starter who is always on a quest to expand her knowledge base.

After completing her articles at KPMG, she was selected by this prestigious firm to become an Audit Manager within KPMG’s Information and Consumer Markets business unit where she led audit teams, handled fee negotiations and managed client relationships.

It was during these years that she honed her accounting and auditing skills which are critical for any business..

She is passionate about community upliftment, especially that of young African females. She was involved in Career Build, a mentorship program that provides career and general life guidance to high school students and recent high school leavers.

She is a mentor under the Campaign for Girls, which is a holistic development initiative that identifies talented, young girls with leadership potential and empowers them with skills, information and the confidence to become well-rounded women thereby making them active members of society and bringing about social change.

She studying towards a Master of Management in Finance and Investment degree with Wits Business School.
