Trialogue Business in Society Conference to tackle inclusive economy trends


The Trialogue Business In Society Conference, an annual business gathering, plans to delve into on-trend themes ranging from social justice and stakeholder interaction, to harnessing innovative and disruptive technologies for inclusive growth.

The keynote address will be presented by the former South African Public Protector, Thuli Madonsela, now Chair in Social Justice in the Law Faculty of Stellenbosch University.

Bonang Mohale, Business Leadership South Africa Chief Executive Officer, will also share insights at this leading industry event.

“Business has a decisive role to play in growing an inclusive economy that reflects the values of our constitution,” says Nick Rockey, Trialogue Managing Director.

The conference attracts about 450 corporate, non-profit, government and academic leaders annually.

Priya Naik, Samhita Chief Executive Officer, will provide insight on how companies in India are helping to address issues of inequality.

Dion Chang, Flux Trends Innovator and Trends Analyst, will discuss what companies and non-profit organisations (NPOs) can do to ensure inclusive growth in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Other speakers include noted author and chairperson of the Democracy Works Foundation, Professor William Gumede and Mark Heywood, executive director of the public interest law centre, Section 27.

The conference will be held at The Wanderers Club in Johannesburg on 8 and 9 May 2018.

During his tenure at Double Digit Media, he was he focused on application and web site development for new and existing clients Mphahlele contributes as a Content Manager for BizNis Africa.
