Tiso Blackstar Group appoints new CEO

The capacity of Andrew David Bonamour has changed from non-executive director to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with effect from 17 July 2017.

The board is pleased to announce this appointment which has culminated as a result of the Company’s change in status from an Investment Entity to a consolidated group, its migration to the UK and in light of the fact that Andrew is the CEO of the Company’s investment advisor Tiso Blackstar SA Proprietary Limited as well as CEO of the Group’s core business Tiso Blackstar Group Proprietary Limited, previously Times Media Proprietary Limited.

Bonamour is the founder of Blackstar, now named Tiso Blackstar.

Andrew previously worked at Brait SA Limited, where he held positions in investment banking, principal investment divisions and corporate finance.

At Brait, he originated and played a lead role in a variety of transactions ranging from leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, capital replacements and restructurings.

Bonamour has an in-depth knowledge of  and experience in, corporate finance, private equity and investment banking.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree.

The board of Tiso Blackstar welcomes the appointment of Andrew Bonamour as CEO of the holding company and

During his tenure at Double Digit Media, he was he focused on application and web site development for new and existing clients Mphahlele contributes as a Content Manager for BizNis Africa.
