TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris\Johannesburg appoints new Chief Creative Officer

TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris\Johannesburg has welcomed back seasoned creative and newly appointed Chief Creative Officer, Peter Khoury to the agency.

Khoury started his career in 2000 when he joined TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris, launching the BMW 6 Series global campaign.
With over 14 years experience in the industry, the latter seven years spent at MetropolitanRepublic, Khoury has changed the advertising landscape with several of his campaigns, most notably, his ground breaking work on the 2010 FIFA WORLD CUP “Ayoba” integrated campaign for Africa/Middle East telecom provider MTN.

As part of his new role, Peter intends to continue to contribute to the iconic legacy that the agency has become renowned for. Achieving this he says, will take bravery, guts and a team that believes in a collective purpose.

Talking to those campaigns that resonate with him the most, Khoury explains that it is the campaigns that challenge and change things, like culture, society and individual perceptions that ultimately lead to an action that improves lives. Ideas that manifest themselves into iconic work through every touch point will set us apart and set the trend for the future.

With an impressive amount of awards under his belt that include a Gold, Silver and Bronze Cannes Lion, 4 entries into the D&AD Book, 1 Gold and 5 Bronze Clio statues, a Gold and Silver One Show Pencil, a Cannes Young Creative Award, 9 Gold, 16 Silver, 13 Bronze Loerie awards, 11 Gold Craft Loerie awards, as well as 2 rankings in the elusive Gunn Report (2008 & 2012), Peter is set to take TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris\Johannesburg to new heights.

“We are thrilled that Peter has re-joined our team and are confident that his wealth of experience will continue to drive iconic work, setting us apart from the competition,” says Danni Dixon, Managing Director at TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris Johannesburg.
