SystemicLogic acquires Knowledge Factory from Kagiso Media

Global financial innovation and technology company SystemicLogic has acquired the Knowledge Factory, a property data and ICT company, from Kagiso Media.

The acquisition is effective from 1 April 2019 and signals a new growth phase for SystemicLogic.

SystemicLogic helps companies realise their strategic intent by building their innovation capability.

The acquisition combines the expertise and experience of the two organisations and will enhance the data, digital and innovation offerings that are available to help clients improve operational efficiencies, navigate revenue growth opportunities, and ensure risk mitigation.

Audrey Mothupi, SystemicLogic CEO, says the two businesses complement each other strategically.

“We both work with clients to help them navigate the tech world and use innovation to solve problems. Together, we can offer a better service and more innovative solutions as we use our collective brain power to help our clients.”

“We are excited about the new opportunities it brings for our clients in South Africa, Africa and further afield,” she said.

“The acquisition not only opens up new prospects for the business, but also paves the way for more job creation. As a country we need to continue to create more opportunities for entrepreneurs to grow.”

In this digital and disruptive age, the SystemicLogic group’s differentiators include speed of execution and the quality of its people, both of which will be further augmented by the new acquisition.

“It’s exciting to work in this space, but a little daunting because it is so fast-moving,” says Mothupi.

“Disruption and innovation are relentless, and our objective is to help companies make sense of all the changes they face, working with them as they evolve and become thriving businesses.

“We identify existing and potential data sources, conduct analyses and make sense of the data, before finally using it to address business problems,” says Ashwin Frankie, Knowledge Factory CEO.

“We are delighted to be part of this dynamic group.”
