Syntell appoints new General Manager for eCommerce

Yandisa Madondo has been appointed as the new eCommerce General Manager for Syntell Group.

In his Executive role, he has been tasked with re-launching the company’s digital platforms at the same time growing Syntell’s online business.

Madondo is an innovative, young professional in the digital industry. He has worked in different roles including Digital Media Manager for MTVBase, Nickelodeon, VH1 and Comedy Central Africa.

Having started his career as a Web Developer at Telkom, Madondo built a sound technical base which saw him move into a Digital Marketing Specialist position at Neotel.

Madondo then moved into a dynamic online marketing role at Vodacom.

He later joined MTV Networks Africa(Viacom), were he managed MTV, MTVBase, VH1 and Nickelodeon’s digital platforms and later worked on a big project to launch Comedy Central Africa.

Prior to joining Syntell, Yandisa was heading up Afrox’s eCommerce department.

Madondo officially joined Syntell on 1 December 2017.

At Nashua Mobile, he was responsible for application development and enhancing the web sites At South West Gauteng College, he was the IT Technician and Network Administrator. During his tenure at Double Digit Media, he was he focused on application and web site development for new and existing clients Mphahlele contributes as a Content Manager for BizNis Africa.
