Nomavuso Mnxasana steps down as Nedbank Group Executive


The boards of Nedbank Group and Nedbank Limited has announced the retirement of Nomavuso Mnxasana as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the companies with effect from the close of Nedbank Group’s Annual General Meeting on 10 May 2018.

Mnxasana was appointed to the Companies’ boards in 2008 and has reached the end of her nine-year term as an independent non-executive director.

During her tenure she has chaired the Group Transformation, Social and Ethics Committee, and has also been a member of the Group Audit Committee, Group Risk and Capital Management Committee, Group
Remuneration Committee, and Group Directors’ Affairs Committee.

Nedbank Group Chairman, Vassi Naidoo, thanked Nomavuso for her exceptional service and commitment to
the Group and wished her well for her future endeavours.

Mnxasana’s retirement will bring the percentage of independent non-executive directors on
the Nedbank Group and Nedbank Boards down from the current 61% to 59%.
