Nolitha Fakude serves as an Executive Director at Sasol Limited, responsible for world-wide human resources, corporate affairs and global government relations.
Prior to this, Fakude was a Group Executive at Nedbank Limited responsible for corporate affairs, strategy and transformation.
Fakude has extensive experience in retail, having held various positions including that of Director, Group Human Resources and Head of Corporate Affairs at Woolworths Holdings.
Fakude has served as a Managing Director of the Black Management Forum as well as its national President.
She is a Patron for Women’s Hope – Education and Education Trust.
Fakude is a senior executive with more than 22 years corporate experience.
Fakude has worked in various industries and sectors including Retail, Management Consulting, Financial Services, Mining and Oil & Gas.
Fakude is highly regarded as a thought leader in business transformation processes, strategy and governance. She has been Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Datacentrix Holdings since March 2014.
Fakude serves on the Board of Sasol Mining, Sasol Synfuels, Sasol OIL, and Sasol Solvents. She serves as Director of Harmony Gold Mines and BMF Investment Company. She served as Trustee of National Empowerment Fund.
Fakude’s honorary accolades are the 2004 Most Influential Businesswomen by Financial Mail, Impala Platinum Young Entrepreneur Award, and National Honor by the Golden Key Society and University of Johannesburg.
She holds a BA, with honors, in Psychology and a Senior Executive Programme from the Harvard Business School.
