MTN South Africa reduces fibre data bundles by 50%

MTN South Africa has reduced the prices of its Supersonic fibre data bundles by 50%, to boost the competitiveness of its propositions and ensure that customers can access its high-speed fibre network cost effectively.

“This pricing is compelling and offers value to our customers. The bonus data and the night data that are inclusive in these packages ensures that we provide competitive solutions that meet the diverse needs of our customers and continue to lead the delivery of a bold, new digital world,” says Alpheus Mangale, MTN Business Chief Enterprise Business Officer.

Customers who sign up for an MTN Supersonic 24 month contract before 1 October 2016 will not only enjoy a seamless experience from using MTN’s high-speed network, but will also receive free installation, a free router and bonus data bundles that are the equivalent of the bundle option.

In addition, they will also be provisioned with twice the amount of night bundle data to utilise between 00h00 and 06h00.

The installation fee for month-to-month contracts have been dropped from ZAR3000.00 to ZAR999.00 to enhance the products’ value proposition.

MTN customers have a wide variety of data bundles to choose from, starting from the 20GB bundle which comes with 20GB of bonus data and 40GB of night data for R40. The 1000GB of bundle is inclusive of 1000GB of bonus data and 2000GB of night data for ZAR999.

Though MTN does not yet offer an uncapped data bundle, customers have an expansive range of data denominations they can choose from, and also have an option of tailoring a data package that suits their needs and budget.
