Makwana serves on the Boards of Educor Limited, Member of FutureWorld network of Gurus, Council Member – Alliance for New Humanity Trustee on the boards of the International Marketing Council (Brand SA) and WWWF South Africa, Trustee on the boards of the International Marketing Council (Brand SA) and WWWF South Africa President of the University of Zululand’s Alumni Convocation.
Makwana further serves as chairman of the board of trustees at The New LoveLife Trust, Chairman of global design agency The Brand Union, a division of WPP Inc, as well as chairman of ITNA. Makwana holds Bachelor of Administration Degree from University of Zululand, BAdmin (Honours) from University of Pretoria and Executive Development Programme from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business from North Western University.
