Maggie Dennison, Basis Points Capital Analyst

Maggie Dennison joined Basis Points Capital in August 2013 as an Analyst.

She has been involved in various financial advisory projects in both Botswana and South Africa, these include:

Financial analysis, financial and commercial due diligence;
Exposure to various treasury management services;
Valuations;
Regular research on debt and equity markets;
Providing support in financial advisory services to municipalities and parastatals to access debt capital markets for capital raising;
Preparation of reports for clients.

Before joining BPS, she was on an internship programme at the South African Ministry of Finance: Accountant General’s Banking Department.

Dennison’s role was processing electronic fund transfers from all the different government sectors and sending out payment schedules to the Bank of Botswana.

She attained her BA (Honours) in Accounting and Finance in 2012 from the University of Derby (UK) through the Botswana Accountancy College.
