Henley Business School in association with Unique Speaker Bureau, has announced the launch of an Executive Speaker Programme.
For the first time ever in South Africa, the knowledge and expertise of four international speakers has been combined to create a practical course that will assist aspiring speakers and business presenters to elevate their skills to the next essential level.
Mastering the art of public speaking in order to deliver dynamic business presentations and have greater influence over an audience is vital for business success. Whether presenting results at a board meeting, making a sales-pitch to clients or delivering a keynote speech at a conference, this is when a professional is judged the most.
With this in mind, the Executive Speaker Programme has been strategically designed to train delegates to communicate at their best, at every occasion.
Facilitated by four of South Africa’s top professional speakers, Lynn Baker, Michael Jackson, Ryan Hogarth and Shelley Walters, the programme includes 8 modules over a 9 week period, covering the essential components to mastering the art of public speaking.
“We have combined the skills, knowledge and expertise of four of South Africa’s top international speakers to bring professionals a course that is highly dynamic and significantly focussed on shifting delegates to the next level of public speaking and business success,” comments Paul Mc Connon, Unique Speaker Bureau Director.
Through experiential exercises and small group activities, delegates will have the opportunity to put new techniques into practice and enhance their ability to speak with confidence, poise, clarity and conviction. In addition to this, delegates are encouraged to foster these skills through the unique opportunity to present numerous times in front of peers and coaches and receive immediate feedback on content and delivery.
Furthermore, the course will explore what successful speakers do right and what needs to change. It will outline dynamic delivery skills including voice projection, tone and vocal pace and how posture, stance and body language has the ability to either increase or decrease credibility.
“The Executive Speaker Programme has been designed with the business executive in mind. Aimed at senior management, professionals and aspiring professional speakers, the course will set the bar for public speaking that is exceptionally polished, highly influential and impressively memorable. We want delegates to leave the course as better speakers, better business presenters and better masters of influence,” concludes Mc Connon.
The Executive Speaker Programme will take place from the 4 April to 7 June 2016 over 8 sessions.
The course covers the key aspects of planning, preparing and performing a professional presentation, as well as how to enhance your personal brand.
The course takes place at Henley Business School South Africa:
