FedEx gets PMR Africa Awards for Excellence in Southern Africa

FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp, received the following four PMR.africa awards, based on its operations across Southern Africa:

South Africa:

FedEx Express won Gold for International Operations in the category for Foreign-Owned Courier Companies.

South Africa:

FedEx Express also won Silver for Domestic Services in the category for Foreign-Owned Courier Companies.

Namibia:

FedEx Express was awarded the Golden Arrow Award in the Leaders and Achievers category, which recognizes companies and institutions which have, during the previous 12 months, contributed the most in its respective sectors to stimulate the economic growth and development in the country.

Zambia:

FedEx Express won gold for Foreign-Owned Courier Companies Operating Domestically.

These PMR.africa awards recognise the role of FedEx Express in the African courier industry and its contribution to creating employment opportunities, raising service standards, and setting industry benchmarks.

The purpose of the PMR Awards is to enhance excellence as well as competitiveness (both locally and internationally), and to set a benchmark for each industry.  These awards are the culmination of extensive research and peer review process to rate companies and institutions based on respondents’ perceptions.  The analysis places a strong focus on evaluating customer service and customer satisfaction.
