Eskom rotates interim Group CEO role


In an effort to embed organisational stability, it is imperative that the role of Eskom’s Group Chief Executive be permanently filled.

This is according to the Eskom media statement. 

“The recruitment process will begin in due course. The Eskom Board has decided to rotate current executives in this role to ensure exposure.”

Johnny Dladla has occupied the role of Interim Group Chief Executive since June 2017.

The Eskom Board would like to announce that Sean Maritz, Eskom CIO and Group Executive for Information Technology, has been appointed as the Interim Group Chief Executive, effective immediately.

Dladla will resume his role as the Chief Executive Officer of Eskom Rotek Industries (ERI).

Eskom thanked Dladla for his role and wished Maritz well in this new role.
