Entrepreneurs hub (eHub) to officially launch in South Africa

Andrew Tsuro, Co-founder of the Entrepreneurs Hub (eHub) spoke to BizNis Africa Founder and Managing Director, Bontle Moeng at her offices in Bryanston, Johannesburg, South Africa regarding a new Entrepreneurship hub (e-Hub)

The goal of the e-Hub is to connect aspiring entrepreneurs to other startups, investors, mentors, industry experts and stakeholders.

The e-Hub is the platform created to enable entrepreneurs to share knowledge and learn from each other.

What the Entrepreneurs Hub Forum is all about?

There are currently 3 types of people in the entrepreneurship space – the aspiring entrepreneur who wants to know how to start-up a business, what are the proper business registration channels; the start-up entrepreneur who faces different challenges including financing, how to grow the business, how to progress to become an industry expert, mentorship and entrepreneurs who are on a growth face.

“There’s a bit of a gap between the successful entrepreneur, start-ups and those on a growth phase. The aim of the entrepreneurs hub is to bridge the gap,” confirms Tsuro.

Currently the eHub team is using social media platforms, TV and Radio to reach it’s targeted audience.

What is the e-Hub?

The goal of the e-Hub is to bridge the gap of the 3 types of entrepreneurs that currently exist across Africa.

“Entrepreneurship is one of the most trending topics in our continent. We currently need to focus on how to fix our economic status and curb the high unemployment rate.”

“Entrepreneurship is bridging that gap,” stresses Tsuro.

Tsuro highlights that most entrepreneurs are hungry for development.

“By helping them through their business journey, we would have played a key role within the economy.”

Tsuro currently lives in South Africa and is pursuing his studies in marketing management.

He will be launching the entrepreneurship hub and production premium on 27 January 2017 at KPMG offices, Crescent Auditorium, Johannesburg, South Africa at 18:00 CAT.

“The public will get an overview of what we are offering them, a platform to register their business, networking with established entrepreneurs, obtain the right advice and a chance to meet relevant mentors,” says Tsuro.

What other e-HUB initiatives are in your future plans post the launch?

As soon as we have launched the platform, aspiring entrepreneurs can share their business plans. In return, we will align them with the right companies or professionals within the right business sectors in order to support their venture.

“It is through participating at the Toastmasters International programme that I realised my passion with working with companies especially aspiring entrepreneurs,” concludes Tsuro.
