Citrix today, 24 May 2017, announces that it is increasing its footprint in Africa through an expansion in distribution operations, and that its channel in East and West Africa will now be managed and supported by Citrix South Africa.
“Customers are continuing to demand virtualisation, cloud and networking solutions as digital transformation initiatives gather pace in businesses across South Africa, and beyond. There is significant opportunity for Citrix to capitalise on customer demand for technologies to enable secure access to apps and data, across English-speaking Africa. As always our partner ecosystem will be invaluable in helping us achieve scale and reach – hence we are investing in our loyal partners in South Africa, and growing our ecosystem across the continent through the appointment of a new distributor. South Africa continues to be the headquarters for Citrix operation in Africa – we have witnessed significant growth over the past two years, and these initiatives are designed to help better meet that demand,” says Brendan McAravey, Citrix South Africa Country Manager.
