Cell C commercial offering for Fibre-to-the-Home service, C-Fibre, has been launched from today, 4 April 2016.

The company has partnered with Open Access Fibre Network Operator, Vumatel to bring competitive uncapped Fibre offerings to customers in the Vumatel footprint.

Cell C is also in discussions with other Fibre providers to provide an end-to-end service to customers in other areas across the country.

“In a world where content and technology are converging, customers are going to need high-speed and unrestricted access that will allow them to keep pace with their content consumption,” says Jose Dos Santos, Cell C Chief Executive Officer.

C-Fibre will initially be available in three flavours, all offering unlimited, unrestricted symmetrical data – in other words uncapped and unshaped with the same performance when downloading or uploading: the first is a C-Fibre 20 Mbps offering, which customers can subscribe to for ZAR899 per month; the second is a C-Fibre 50Mbps offering for R1 149 per month; and the third C-Fibre 100Mbps offering, for ZAR1 499 per month.

All offerings include free installation valued at ZAR1 710, free connection worth R999 and a free Wi-Fi router with LTE fail-over worth ZAR1799, subject to T&Cs.

C-Fibre forms part of Cell C’s focussed broadband strategy and commitment to bring the best-value fixed and mobile broadband services to the market.

“We are focussed on providing the best possible experience to our customers and will be developing our broadband strategy to ensure that customers receive the quality and value they have come to expect from Cell C,” says Dos Santos.
