Busisa Moyo, United Refineries Limited CEO

Busisa Moyo serves as the Chief Executive Officer at United Refineries Limited.

He served as Senior Business Development Manager and Managing Director of United Refineries Limited of TA Holdings Ltd.

Moyo joined the TA Group as Divisional Accountant for Aroma Bakeries in 1999. Later, he held various positions in the foods division of TA covering management accounting and corporate finance before being elevated to the TA head office as Investment and Corporate Finance Executive in 2000.

His role at TA covers deal structuring, investment analysis, research, private equity and business development.

He serves as Director of Lion Assurance Company Ltd in Uganda and United Refineries (Pvt) Ltd.

Moyo is a candidate in the CFA programme.

He has attended executive education on mergers and acquisitions at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and is a candidate in the CFA programme.

He also holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science Degree (Bcompt) from the University of South Africa and completed his articles with Deloitte and Touché in 1999.
