Muteti’s most recent career roles include being appointed Head of Alliances and Wholesale Telecom Business Division in Airtel Kenya, driving MVNO strategy, from Aug 2013, being named Group Head for Corporate Business, Global Accounts and Strategic Partners at Airtel Africa, from September 2011 – handling 17 Airtel countries in Africa including Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Ghana, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Rwanda, Seychelles, Gabon, DRC, Burkina Faso, Chad, Congo Brazzaville, Niger and Madagascar.
Prior to joining Airtel, 3 with Orange in various capacities including Head of Public Sector Sales and Management, Head of Business Operations and National SME Sales Manager, Kenya.
Muteti has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, University of Nairobi, General Management Executive Training from the Prestigious Indian Institute of Management and professional trainings in management and leadership from among others Crestcom International and Mercuri International.
