Ayo Adegboye


Ayo Adegboye was appointed Managing Director of Business Connexion Nigeria in 2016.

Prior to that, he was the Vice President: ITB at Schneider Electrics West Africa, overseeing APC by Schneider Electric IT businesses and Operations across West Africa.

This included P&L for Large Enterprise Business, Retail (B2C), Data Center Infrastructure & StructureWare Software, APC & MGE UPS Channel Business, Sales, Support, Marketing and Services.

Adegboye has won several international accolades and awards for global best practices and notable achievement which include Influencing the signing of MOU for Ekiti State SAMSUNG Engineering Academy in South Korea with Dr Kayode Fayemi lead administration in 2012, successful launch of first APC By Schneider Electric Experience center in Middle East and Africa, Conceptualized and implemented Bank of the Future for Union Bank on behalf of Samsung Electronics – another first in Sub-Sahara Africa, Conceptualized and implemented Winning At Retail (WAR) strategy for Schneider Electric West Africa; the effort which lead to double-digit market growth within a year.

He’s trainer, coach and mentor.

Adegboye has been a speaker at several local and international conferences where he offers solutions to emerging Africa economy, complex solution selling and the impact of IT on modern day businesses.

A recent analysis of the Nigerian IT and software industry and ranking executives in several categories which reflect the exemplary strength of the business network and the size of the company ranked Adegboye in the top 1% of overall Nigerian executives.

Adegboye has a BSc, an MBA and PhD qualification.

Thabo Mphahlele is the BizNis Africa Head of Sales and Marketing. Mphahlele was previously MultiChoice Production Support Analyst responsible for developing and monitoring applications. In addition, Mphahlele develops and automates batch scripts and is responsible for the daily infrastructure maintenance at MultiChoice. As a Production Support Analyst, he is responsible for incident analysis solving , developing and constructing business reports for SQL and Oracle and implement change controls for the business. Additional responsibility includes monitoring system performance via SOA, Kibaba (Elasticsearch), H.P BSM, HP Sitescope. Mphahlele is responsible for creating infrastructure performance reports through HP Ops Analytics, monitoring payments via Splunk and in-house built-in tool and disaster recovery simulation and testing. At Nashua Mobile, he was responsible for application development and enhancing the web sites At South West Gauteng College, he was the IT Technician and Network Administrator. During his tenure at Double Digit Media, he was he focused on application and web site development for new and existing clients Mphahlele contributes as a Content Manager for BizNis Africa.
