Technology is impacting every industry in Africa and transforming lives across the continent.
With the Fourth Industrial Revolution taking hold, hype is growing around key new technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT).
This is according to AfricaCom – a global African Technology and Telecommunications event.
“There’s been a lot of discussions about the technology industry in Africa,” says Bontle Moeng, BizNis Africa Founder and Managing Director.
“We need to delve deeper into this discussion in oder to discover what Africa’s technology revolution is all about and how can the continent position itself as a major player within the global arena,” says Moeng.
“The continent has witnessed a high number of technology hubs being launched in nearly every community across Africa’s 54 countries. The passion, drive and energy is present – all that is needed is to forcefully create a solid technology ecosystem to tackle the continent’s major challenges.
