Sthembiso Dlamini, South African Tourism Chief Operating Officer

Sthembiso Dlamini is the South African Tourism Chief Operating Officer.

Her role is to lead business planning and budgeting processes, ensure optimal management of resources and adherence to good corporate governance through prudent financial management.

She also ensures compliance with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and all other legislation affecting South African Tourism.

Prior to his current role, Dlamini was employed as a senior manager in the office of the CEO at the National Development Agency (NDA), a role she had occupied since August 2012 and had worked for the South African Revenue Service as acting director of corporate affairs from 2007 to 2012.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Criminology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Project and Programme Management.
