Segun Oloketuyi, Wema Bank MD and CEO

Segun Oloketuyi serves as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Wema Bank.

Oloketuyi served as General Manager for Business Optimization Division of Skye Bank Plc and served as Executive Director of its Business Development.

He served as Deputy General Manager in charge of Corporate and Commercial Markets of Skye Bank Plc, formerly Prudent Bank Plc since joining in January 2000 and served as its Executive Director of Finance and Enterprise Risk Management for Skye Bank Plc since January 2006.

He served with Akintola Williams & Co, now Akintola Williams Deloitte, Chartered Accountants since 1985 as an Auditor.

He served with Chartered Bank Plc since 1990 and served as its Assistant General Manager. In October 2005, he was appointed the Acting Managing Director of Bond Bank.

Oloketuyi served as the Chairman of the Board at Great Nigeria Insurance Plc. He serves as Executive Director of Wema Bank Plc. He served as an Executive Director of Skye Bank Plc from April 2004 to June  2009 with responsibilities for Business Development across Lagos and South West Directorates of the Bank.

He served as a Director of Law Union & Rock Insurance Plc. He is a Fellow (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and holds an MBA degree from the Lagos Business School.

He has attended various Professional and Leadership training programmes in the course of his Banking career.

Oloketuyi holds a BSc degree in Chemistry and a postgraduate Diploma in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Lagos and the Advanced Management Programme of INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.
