Othman Benjelloun is the Founder of FinanceCom International SA and serves as its Chairman and President.

Benjelloun serves as an Advisor to the Center for Strategic International Studies in Washington DC.

Benjelloun serves as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Banque Marocaine du Commerce Exterieur SA, alternately Banque Marocaine Du Comm Exter/”BMCE-Bank”) since June 1995.

He has been Chairman of Banque Marocaine du Commerce Exterieur SA since June 1995.

He serves as Chairman of the Moroccan Bankers Association and Chairman of the Moroccan-American Trade and Investment Board.

He serves as a Honorary Trustee of Center for Strategic and International Studies Inc.

He served as a Director of Espirito Santo Financial Group SA since May 31, 2002. He serves as a Director of Banque Marocaine Du Comm Exter.

In 1995, Benjelloun set up the Foundation BMCE, in Morocco, which has its principal aims the advancement of Literacy in rural areas and the protection of the Environment.

He is also a member of the International Councillors, headed by Dr. Henry Kissinger, at the Center for Strategic International Studies (CSIS, Washington, D.C.), an international geopolitics center.

He was Chancellor of Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane from 1998 to January 2004.

In the field of Corporate Social Responsibility, Benjelloun has charged the BMCE Bank Foundation, which he created in 1995, with two main priorities; the promotion of education in rural areas, through the implementation of the Medersat.com Program and environmental protection.

Benjelloun was awarded the title Officier de l’Ordre de Trône du Royame du Maroc, Commander of the Swedish Royal Order of the Polar Star and decorated with the Medal of Commander of the National Order of the Lion of the Senegalese Republic.

He is an Engineer from École Polytechnique de Lausanne, Switzerland.
