Mathieu Mandeng, Standard Chartered Bank Cameroon CEO

Mathieu Mandeng is the Standard Chartered Bank Cameroon CEO.

Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer, Mathieu was Executive Director, Head of Client Relationships Corporate and Institutional Banking and Deputy Managing Director.

Before joining Standard Chartered, he worked for 5 years with Citibank Cameroon in several capacities.

In 2002 Mandeng was promoted Country Head of Global Relationships and Financial Institutions and Country Coordinator for Return on Economic Capital.

Mandeng was also appointed Credit Officer in the same year with a credit limit.

Prior to his banking experience, he worked for 10 years in the mining and metal industry in France in various capacities including Financial Control, Treasury Management, Corporate Finance, Training and Consultancy.

Mandeng holds an MSC in Finance and Management Control from the University of Orleans, an MBA in Enterprise Management from the University of Bordeaux in France and an Alumnus of Said Business School, Oxford University.

Mathieu is also a Non-Executive Director of Standard Chartered Bank Côte d’Ivoire.
