Margaret Baale, FBN Capital Acting Managing Director

Margaret Baale is the Acting Managing Director of FBN Capital Limited.

She is a Chartered Accountant with over 23 years experience in the financial services industry.

She joined the FBN Holdings group in 2003 as the Chief Financial Officer of FBN Funds, then First Funds Limited and took on the additional role of Chief Operating Officer from 2008 to 2012.

Baale later transitioned to Head the General Services unit of FBN Capital Limited from 2013 to the present. 

Prior to joining the group, Margaret worked with NAL Merchant Bank (now part of Sterling Bank Plc) where she served in various roles including Head of Strategy & Quality Assurance, Head of Treasury Operations, Head of International Investment/Settlement; as well as Foreign Operations/International Settlement, Financial Control International Operations and Internal Audit.

She also worked with Intercity Bank Plc, now part of Unity Bank Plc supervising Credit and Marketing. 

Baale holds a B.Pharm Degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria; an MSc in Investment Management from Cass Business School, City University, London and an MBA from the University of Lagos.
