Lwazi Bam, Deloitte Africa CEO

Lwazi Bam was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte Southern Africa on 1 June 2012 and the Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte Africa on 1 June 2013.

The appointment as chief executive of Deloitte Africa followed the integration of the Deloitte member firms in Botswana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Lwazi Bam serves as Partner, Chief Executive and Head of Corporate Finance at Deloitte Southern Africa Corporate Finance division.

Bam has been with the Deloitte since 1996 and has served in several roles, including as a Member of the Deloitte Board and heading up the Advisory unit in Corporate Finance.

Bam has advised on a number of Mergers and Acquisitions transactions.

Bam portfolio of experience covers buy-side and sell-side advisory, capital raising, management buy-outs, valuations and due diligence services.

Bam also serves on the Securities Regulation Panel (SRP) and is also a Member of the national Board of ABASA.
