Kofi Amegashie, Adcock Ingram Commercial Executive for Africa

Kofi Amegashie has been Commercial Executive for Africa at Adcock Ingram Holdings Limited since October 2011.

Amegashie is one of four international business executives to be elected to the board of PATH, an American-based Non-Profit Organisation (NPO).

Prior to joining Adcock Ingram, Amegashie served as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Afrinet, the Alexander Forbes business on the African continent from November 2010 to August 2011.

Amegashie trained as a Chemical Engineer.

Amegashie has over 20 years business experience with Chevron Corporation, Shell International Petroleum Company, International Finance Corporation,private sector arm of the World Bank Group and The Coca-Cola Company in a variety of functions in Asia, Africa, Europe and North America.

Amegashie joined Coca-Cola in Nigeria in 2006 as Director Consumer Marketing, Strategy and Business Planning for Nigeria and Equatorial Africa.

Amegashie serves as a Director of Femi Johnson and Company Limited and the Alexander Forbes Group.

Amegashie supported African SME development as a manager at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and is co-founder of a strategy implementation consultancy focusing on sub-Saharan Africa.

Amegashie holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering and a MSc in Management from the London Business School.
