Asante served as Sales and Distribution Executive of MTN Ghana Ltd. He served as Director of Customer Development at Unilever Ghana Limited since July 2006.

Asante serves as a Director of MTN Ghana Ltd.

He served as the Chief Executive Officer of MTN Rwandacell Limited from October 2013 to July 2015.

He served as a Director at Unilever Ghana Limited since July 2006.

He holds a BA (Hons) Economics and Statistics degree from the University of Ghana, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Henley Management College and was part of MTN’s Global Advancement Programme (GAP) in 2010.
