Dawn Mokhobo, Altron Independent Non-Executive Director

Dawn Nonceba Merle Mokhobo, serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MBM Change Agents (Pty) Ltd.

Mokhobo served as the Managing Director at MBM Change Agents (Pty) Ltd.

She founded MBM Change Agents, in November 1996.

Mokhobo served as a Member of the Management Board at Eskom, where she was In Charge of growth and development.

She served as a Senior Manager and Senior General Manager (Human Resources) at Eskom and a Senior Divisional Health Education Manager at Anglo American Corporation.

She has been Independent Non Executive Chairman of Sabvest Limited since May 15, 2017.

She serves as the Chairperson of Fedics; Africa International Advisors; and Tsebo Outsourcing Group.

She has been Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Wesizwe Platinum Ltd., since January 2010.

She serves as the Executive Deputy Chairperson and a Director of Partnership Investments (Pty) Limited. She served as Independent Non-Executive Deputy Chairman of Sabvest Limited, since April 2014 until May 2017.

She has been an Independent Non-Executive Director of Sabvest Limited, since October 2005.

She serves as an Independent Non Executive Director of Scinta South Africa (Pty) Ltd.

Mokhobo has been an Independent Non Executive Director of Allied Electronics Corporation Limited since November 2008 and Wesizwe Platinum Ltd since December 2009.

She serves as a Non-executive Director of Altron and Independent Director for Cricket South Africa.

She chairs African International Advisors and the Ombudsman’s Council for Long term Insurance and is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Financial Services Board Foundation Trust. She served as an Executive Director at Eskom.

She served as a Director of Engen Ltd. She served as Director of Sasol Inzalo Public Limited (RF) until November 2013. Mrs. Mokhobo served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Nozala Investments (Pty) Ltd, Sanlam Life Insurance Ltd. and other companies until December 2003.

She served as a Non Executive Director of Massmart Holdings Ltd from June 2002 to June 2011.

She served as a Non Executive Director of Sanlam Ltd from 1996 to December 2003.

In 1993, she received the South African Businesswoman of the Year award.

In 1994, Mokhobo was honoured with an invitation as one of the independent electoral commissioners who supervised the country’s first democratic elections.

She is one of South Africa’s Leading Managers and Businesswomen.

She has a pioneering career spanning the public, private and parastatal sectors.

Mokhobo holds a B.A. degree in Social Sciences from UNIN and Programme in Strategic Transformation from Graduate School of Business (Stellenbosch).
