David Kwame Tandoh Adomakoh, Tiso Investment Holdings Chairman

David Kwame Tandoh Adomakoh, BSc (Econs), serves as Chairman of Tiso Investment Holdings.

He is the Non-Executive Group Chairman at Tiso Blackstar Group SE since June 8, 2015 and also serves as its Director.

He serves as a Non-Executive Director of Kagiso Tiso Holdings Proprietary Limited and Vanguard Group Limited.

He serves as a Non-Executive Director of Aveng (Africa) Proprietary Limited, Aveng Trident Steel (Pty) Ltd and Trident Steel (Pty) Ltd.

He serves as a Non Executive Director of Travant Capital Partners, Investment Arm.

He was a Co-Founder of Tiso Group and served as its Group Managing Director.

He has advised extensively on energy and water-related projects in several countries.

He served as the Head at Chase Manhattan Bank, Southern Africa. He served as Joint Head of Corporate Finance at JP Morgan Chase. He served as the Head of Africa Corporate Finance at JP Morgan.

He served as an Executive Director at Robert Fleming South Africa and Idwala Industrial Holdings (Pty) Ltd.

He served as Non Executive Director of AEL Mining Services Limited at AECI Ltd. and Idwala Industrial Holdings Limited.

He served as a Director at Chase Manhattan Limited, London and Aveng Grinaker-LTA Limited. He served as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Nedbank Group Limited and Nedbank Limited since February 21, 2014 until May 18, 2017.

He served as a Non-Executive Director of O-line Holdings Limited from February 1, 2010 to August 18, 2011. He served as a Director at Tiso Group.

Adomakoh’s experience spans 12 years in banking, primarily based in London and includes corporate and project finance advisory work, debt capital raising and financial derivatives.

His experience spans 25 years in executive management and investment banking and includes principal investing, corporate and project finance advisory work, debt capital raising and financial derivatives in a number of countries predominantly in Africa and Europe and his experience is value in Nedbank’s strategic direction.

He is a founder trustee of the Tiso Foundation and a World Fellow of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.

Adomakoh holds a BSc with honors in Economics from the London School of Economics, University of London and a Diplome de Langue et de Civilisation from the Sorbonne, Universite de Paris.
