Nonkululeko Nyembezi-Heita is the Alexander Forbes Chairperson.

Nyembezi-Heita is the former Johannesburg Stock Exchange Chairperson.

She was appointed as ArcelorMittal South Africa CEO and a member of the board on 1 March 2008 till February 2014.

She began her career as an engineer at IBM’s Research Triangle Park in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Nyembezi-Heita was previously Vodacom Group Chief Officer for Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to joining Vodacom, she had served as CEO of Alliance Capital Management and Chairman of Alliance Capital Namibia.

Nyembezi-Heita is a Director of several companies, including Macsteel International Holdings, Old Mutual and the JSE. She is currently the Chairperson of SAISI.

Nyembezi-Heita Qualifications include a BSc (Hons) (Elec Eng), MSc (Elec Eng) and an MBA.
