Bethel Nnaemeka Amadi, born in Nigeria, is the President of the Pan-African Parliament.
Amadi gained a Bachelors Degree in Law with Honors from the University of Jos,Plateau State; was called to Bar in October 1986 after Law school in Lagos.
Soon after his national youth service, Amadi was engaged by Christaben Nigeria LTD, Kaduna State, an oil and gas service company, with an exemplary performance, hon amadi achieved rapid promotion from company secretary to export manager in charge of foreign business affairs and eventually the executive director of operations. Also in November 1991, he was appointed the acting Acting General Manager of Hunting Oil Field Services Nigeria Limited, a joint venture between hunting Plc of the United Kingdom and Christaben Group Limited.
In 1993, Amadi established and became the senior partner of his law firm, hallmans legal practitioners, formally Amadi, Eyo Olagoke and Chiagozie.
In addition, Amadi appointed two other companies, Petro Field Limited, an oil service company and Alpha Field Limited, a pharmaceutical and chemical company were also founded by him.
In 2000, Amadi was appointed the managing consultant and member of board of board of Bendel insurance Plc, Benin City and in that capacity, he provided turnaround management with strategic and operational planning implementation and general management.
He set up the Bethel Amadi Foundation in 2003 which has seen many youths earning university degree through scholarship and various skills acquisition programmes.
